Loved by Families Across Generations
“Molly recently completed a legacy tree for our family, and we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of her work and the professionalism she demonstrated throughout the project.
She was not only highly knowledgeable and organized but also personable and approachable, making the collaboration both efficient and pleasant.
Molly exhibited a commendable level of adaptability in responding to our changing requirements, ensuring the final product exceeded our expectations.
We would not hesitate to engage her services for future projects and are pleased to recommend her to friends, family, and colleagues.”

A Thoughtful, Collaborative Process
How we grow your family tree together
1
Share your family details
How many generations do you want to include? Is there a special family member you want to feature? Do you have a blended family, chosen family, or others you want to include? I can provide a worksheet to help you with this process.
2
Developing your concept and sketches
Once you know who you want to include in your family tree illustration, we will come up with a concept that suits your unique family. Then, I will create two different sketches for you to choose from. You pick the elements you love and I combine those into your final sketch.
3
Creating your illustration and calligraphy
To create your family tree artwork, I hand-draw the tree and all its branches to replicate your unique ancestry and geology. I hand-letter each name in my unique modern calligraphy style, then add color with real watercolor, or as a digital illustration to accompany the names.
4
Printing and framing
Once your family tree illustration is complete, I will print it for you at a fine-art printer using a 12-color giclee process on archival art paper. I can ship it to you ready-to-frame, or you have the option to select a custom frame. Your artwork is ready to display in your home or to gift to your beloved family.
Designed with Care, Created with Intention
The first sketch of my own family tree, created for my parents’ 50th anniversary.
Family is important to me, and I am close with mine. I also honor that many families are blended, include chosen family, pets, and others that may not be recognized by traditional genealogical systems.
That’s why I create custom family tree illustrations that are thoughtfully tailored to each and every family—no matter how you define yours.
I created my first family tree as a gift for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. Having them to share stories and memories shaped the piece in a meaningful way, especially since much of my family history had been passed down orally. We included details that mattered deeply to my mom, like honoring my great-grandmother’s first husband, who was killed in World War I, and their child who died in infancy—ensuring they remained part of her story alongside the family she built later in life.
As an artist and illustrator, I understand that families don’t always fit into a traditional “tree” structure. When we work together, I take the time to listen so your story is reflected with care—ensuring your family, your history, and your legacy are honored in a way that feels true to you.
