Illustrations that tell a story

I'm Molly Chidsey, an illustrator and artist creating whimsical, expressive illustrations rooted in imagination and human connection. My artwork combines bold lines, vibrant colors, playful details, and a distinctly hand-drawn character. Whether I'm illustrating a story, exploring a big idea, or creating art that inspires change, I believe illustration has the power to help people imagine new possibilities.

This illustration portfolio features a selection of my original artwork, including editorial and commercial illustration, botanical art, hand lettering, surface patterns, and visual storytelling. I work across traditional and digital media, combining ink, watercolor, and digital drawing in Procreate to create colorful, imaginative artwork with personality and purpose.
