Create tiny watercolor paintings… on a card!
We will explore different types of watercolor and ink to create modern cards you can gift to friends or family. Each participant will make and take three hand-painted cards with matching envelopes.
You will learn:
An overview of watercolor techniques that work well on a small scale
How to create a composition for your card (a design template will be provided, but totally optional to use)
How to incorporate different materials to get a unique look (such as salt, liquid ink, rubbing alcohol, and pen)
You can create your own design, or follow along with one of my templates. Here are a few examples:

Watercolor cards and matching envelopes
Ink, salt, and other materials to experiment with color and texture

Basic student watercolor kit
Basic student-grade round watercolor brush
Pencil and soft white eraser
