What you will learn
We will cover how to create a portable plein air sketching kit, and a process for sketching with pencil, ink, and watercolor. You will also learn tips for sketching common outdoor subjects like flowers, trees, and simple streetscapes. Including:
How to assemble a plein air sketching kit that works for you
How to sketch, ink, and paint your sketch with watercolor in 20-30 minutes
How to annotate your sketch with meaningful notes
Who can take this workshop?
This workshop is held at the Oregon Society of Artists in Portland. OSA members receive a discount to this workshop, but it is open to anyone. Skill level is beginner to intermediate.
