Draw Your Day: Create an Illustrated Journal
Learn how to create an illustrated journal of the things you see, taste, and experience. Join this fun and light-hearted workshop and start sketching your day-to-day life. We will learn different ways to layout the pages for your illustrated journal, how to come up with sketching topics from your own experiences, and techniques for drawing, inking, and coloring your sketches. Beginners welcome! Hosted by the Oregon Society of Artists.
Ink & Watercolor Sketching En Plein Air
Do you want to sketch outside, but not sure where to start? In this fun and informative one-day workshop, we will sketch and paint "en plein air," French for "in the open air." We will cover how to create a portable plein air sketching kit, and a process for sketching with pencil, ink, and watercolor. You will also learn tips for sketching common outdoor subjects like flowers, trees, and simple streetscapes. Beginners welcome! Hosted by the Oregon Society of Artists.

Tired of journaling? Try Illustrated Journaling instead! Whether your travels take you abroad, to the park or just to your backyard, this workshop is for you! Learn how to create illustrated journals of the things you see, taste and experience. This is a two-day workshop at the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology on the Oregon coast.
Drawing Basics Workshop
Drawing feels intimidating at first, but it's a matter of knowing a few techniques and tricks! In this short workshop, participants will learn drawing basics of mark-making, shading, and basic perspective. Paint a Watercolor Leaf
It’s nearly springtime, and that means lots and lots of fresh, green leaves! Learn how to paint an easy spring leaf at this beginner-friendly watercolor class. A downloadable worksheet will be provided to participants, so you don’t need to know how to draw.

Messy Sketching for Recovering Perfectionists
Have you tried making art and suddenly froze because you wanted it to be perfect? It’s time to get messy! This playful and interactive virtual workshop will help anyone who self-identifies as a “recovering perfectionist” to loosen up and play when drawing or painting.

Refund policy
For workshops hosted by Lady Fern Graphics: If you cannot attend a class, a 72 hour notice prior to the start of the class via email is required for a full refund of the class fee. After that there is no refund.
For workshops hosted by Oregon Society of Artists, Tokki Art Supply, or Sitka Center for Art and Ecology, the refund policy of that organization applies.
